he's been seeing a lawyer for weeks putting together a case and sunday night couldn't take it anymore. he left and tried to take his daughter but she came outside and pulled the carseat out of the car. this woman has no business having a child. the baby is 6 months old and just barely lived because of feeding problems. she's just had a feeding tube removed last month. the mother REFUSED to learn how to insert and change the tube when the hospital taught the family how to do it. i think that should be a huge red flag to anybody. especially since she does not work and is the primary caregiver. recently she has started babysitting in their home and sent my cousin a text (which he still has) saying that "he needs to do something with sydney (their child)because she can't handle her while she is babysitting". omg. anyway, she put holes in the walls herself after he left sunday and got a 72 hr. protective order on him. he filed for custody monday. what do you think should or will happen?
understand that she put the holes in the wall herself and got the police to put a protective order protecting her form him. of course they do not know she did it herself.

Hey I need some opinions on which is SUPPOSED TO BE as said by my teacher, a BRIEF ONE PAGE PAPER ON MARTHA STEWART AND HER PERSONALITY. Here is what I did in the small amount of time I have, let me know if I should add anything or even correcting it would be OUTSTANDING. Thanks, here it is.
Martha Stewart is one of the most powerful and talented business women to ever walk the earth. She realized her tremendous talents which would help her in becoming one of the most successful entrepreneurs ever and also a great stockbroker. Being an expert at home decoration, cooking, gardening, and crafts, she took her career to the next level by sharing her talent with millions of women, and even men across America through magazines, TV shows and books. Her personality however, only took her so far in her marvelous career as a businesswoman who was very demanding, bold, disorganized, and short-tempered, tried to take too much control. She was incredibly intelligent though which also had a key role into becoming a successful woman.
Martha was a woman who knew what she wanted, and if she didn’t get what she was expecting, her temper would begin to flare. Having problems with many friends and co-workers may have changed the direction her career as she began to take total control over everything she did. Also, her personality and desire to achieve more every day may have been just too much as she caused problems within her family being one of the main problems in the relationship she had with her husband Andy Stewart (who she later divorced) and also lost valuable time with her daughter Alexis. However, if it wasn’t for Martha Stewart’s demand in what she wanted and her intelligence, she might have never been as successful as she was. However these traits of hers were carried over too far, as they had a great impact on the downfall of her career in which she was sentenced time in prison for lying to investigators about a stock sale.
As intelligent Martha Stewart was, her personality traits had both positives and negatives on her career. The negatives in her career will always be out-done by the tremendous positives Martha had, and she will also be known as one of the most successful women ever.
1. took your daughter to the aquarium....on a tuesday?
2. had dinner....and a show?
3. gave wrong directions to someone?
4. saw a frying pan and thought: martha stewart?
5. bought yourself a nice pair of slacks?
I'm getting my daughter's footprints tattooed on me next week. I bought a Martha Stewart acid-free ink pad to actually get her footprints (the hospital didn't get them, so I have to) is that kind of ink pad safe to use on her?
I've heard Babies r us has special kits for handprints and footprints but I went there today and they said they no longer have them in store. If the acid-free ink isn't safe to use on her what kind of ink pads come in those kits?
I'm doing a project for social studies. It's a poem. It's for woman's history month. I chose Martha Stewart, yea I don't know why I chose her but I had no other to do because all the good ones were taken. Ok this is how the poem is suppose to look. My social studies teacher gave us all an example for what the poem should look like. He used Martin Luther King, but he said he found it online. Yea, he's not a woman obviously, but my teacher said this is what he could find. Ok the poem reads:
Martin
Civil Rights Activist, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Dedicated, Optimistic
Son of a Baptist Minister
Lover of Peace, the teachings of Gandhi, American
Who felt Courage, Injustice, the Need for Change
Who needed Strength, Support from Government, Followers who
Believed in His Ideas
Who gave Speeches, Motivation, Guidance
Who didn't fear Resistance, Racism, Segregation
Who wanted to see Nonviolence, Equality, Integration
Resident of Alanta and Montgomery
Luther King
So the poem has to look like this
Line 1: First name only
Line 2: Four traits that describe the person
Line 3: Siblings of.. Wife of...Daughter of...Mother of...
Line 4: Love of (3 ideas)
Line 5: Who felt (3 ideas)
Line 6: Who needed (3 ideas)
Line 7: Who gave (3 ideas)
Line 8: Who feared (3 ideas)
Line 9: Who wanted to see (3 ideas)
Line 10: Resident of (place)
Line 11: Last name only
I got the first line and 11th line down lol. Please help with this. Remember the person is MARTHA STEWART. If you help me, I'll love you forever! Haha! Best answer gets 10 points. PLEASE HELP ME
HELP! I am siting at the bottom of a huge mountain of things to do before Christmas and I don't know where to start! I live in CT and we just got pounded with snow and today is quite bad weather too so I can't get out to finish Christmas shopping... and I need to get a grab bag gift ($20) for a Christmas party I'm going to Sunday. My house looks like romper room, I have crafts from making Christmas presents (many still incomplete) all over the dining room, I haven't even wrapped any presents yet, and my kitchen is covered in baking/cooking supplies and organic grains, veggies and legumes because I just started making home-made baby food for my daughter! I haven't put up the tree yet and with it being my daughter's first Christmas I HAVE to have a tree for pictures, etc. (Right now I don't even know where I would put it because my house is such a disaster! On top of all that I have to fill out and mail over 60 Christmas cards! My mom and sis are out of town for the weekend so I can't call for help. Oh, AND I'm having Christmas dinner at my house this year and haven't even started the grocery shopping for it! HELP!!! I am so overwhelmed right now I just want to scoop up my 8 month old daughter and go take a long nap until Christmas is over! Any suggestions (besides the obvious - get my butt off the computer and get to work, LOL) BTW - I'm taking a break. Wow I just realized I'm so busy I didn't even get my little chocolate piece out of my advent calendar for the past 2 days... And I love chocolate!!! Where do I start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
PS. I don't even this Martha Stewart could pull this off!
I don't have a husband. It's just me and little Avary (8 months old) and I keep trying to delegate to her but she doesn't seem to get it, LOL!
What do you think about this. Contract Talks Cause Speculation About Knight's AMC Future, Plus SHOCKING Di Spoiler!
Is Pine Valley about to be less one cad? Rumors across the Internet have All My Children veteran Michael E. Knight and his wildly popular character Tad Martin possibly on their way out of Pine Valley. Knight's omission from the list of attendees for this year's final Super Soap Weekend (Nov. 15-16 at Disney World) seems to be helping to fan the online flames.
Michael is in contract negotiations," reveals a source close to the show. "If the negotiations can be resolved in time for Super Soap he will be there."
Memo to Chuck Pratt and Brian Frons: The worst mistake you can make in attempting to rebuild this show is to even think about effing with the few vets you have left. If you don't believe me, ask Ellen Wheeler. Booting Jerry Ver Dorn, Maureen Garrett, Nancy St. Alban, Paul Anthony Stewart and of course Grant Aleksander is the reason Guiding Light is in the state it's in now, not to mention losing Beth Ehlers and Ricky Paull Goldin. Ellen's mentor Chris Goutman can also help with some cautionary advice, considering the losses of Martha Byrne, Scott Bryce and others are still being felt by As The World Turns as well. Don't follow suit.
SPOILER ALERT
in other news from the Valley, it appears Di won't be returning for Aidan, instead Dixie's sister is being brought back to snatch up Ryan and Annie's daughter Emma!
"The role is only for two days, that's why Kelly Giddish didn't come back," says a source.
Okay, now I realize Di wasn't exactly a heroine, considering she impersonated her sister and slept with Dixie's "widower", but she always seemed to have a good heart and the best of intentions. What on Soap Earth would make her start snatching up young 'uns?
After tonight's little "rah! rah!" speech by Palin herself, I just suddenly realized that McCain selected himself a much younger (and female) version of Darth Cheney.
Why does that scare me so--I wonder?
Um...is it his infamous comments towards Patrick Leahy?
His hunting 'accident' with his lawyer?
His desire to nuke every Muslim country off the face of the Earth?
His drive to start another illegal war with Iran recently?
Or is it the fact that Cheney has a lesbian daughter and a partner for an in-law--and they just had their first son together?
I dunno, but I think I can I come up with some serious doozies for Martha Stewart's evil twin from the Mirror Universe. :0)
That's for sure!

If you think that the United States is run by a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) elite, think again. The reality is very much otherwise, according to an old-line American magazine that did, indeed, once rank as a voice of the so-called “WASP” establishment.
Vanity Fair—the stylish monthly now owned by the billionaire Zionist Newhouse family—has just published its annual list of the 100 most powerful people in America, what Vanity Fair calls “the New Establishment.”
What this amazing list reveals is a reality that many will find hard to accept: America’s “New Establishment” is overwhelmingly dominated by Jewish figures or those who are on the payroll of or dependent upon Jewish families and financial interests that bankroll the powerful Israeli lobby in America. That conclusion—however “offensive” or “controversial” in the eyes of some people—is inescapable.
Based on Vanity Fair’s listing from the position of 1-100, persons known to be Jewish occupy 53% of the power positions. However, there are actually 106 names on the list (with two names listed side by side in five places) and with the additional names (four of the six being Jewish), there are 57 individuals known to be Jewish listed.
So depending upon how one calculates, either 53% (or 54% including all those listed) of the most powerful members of “the New Establishment”—as perceived by Vanity Fair—are Jewish. And it should be noted that Vanity Fair’s assessment of who constitutes “the New Establishment” is one that critics would be hard-pressed to dispute.
The fact that a Jewish-owned publication has published the names of these Jewish power brokers (without specifically citing their ethnic and religious heritage) is interesting, especially since Israel’s prestigious newspaper, The Jerusalem Post, on Oct. 11, 2007, heralded publication of the list, saying in a headline that “Jewish power dominates [at the] Vanity Fair [list]. The reporter for the Post, Nathan Burstein, noted:
It’s a list of “the world’s most powerful people,” 100 of the bankers and media moguls, publishers and image makers who shape the lives of billions. It’s an exclusive, insular club, one whose influence stretches around the globe but is concentrated strategically in the highest corridors of power. More than half its members, at least by one count, are Jewish.
It’s a list, in other words, that would have made earlier generations of Jews jump out of their skins, calling attention, as it does, to their disproportionate influence in finance and the media.
Making matters worse, in the eyes of many, would no doubt be the identity of the group behind the list—not a pack of fringe anti-Semites but one of the most mainstream, glamorous publications on the newsstands. The list would seem to conform to all the traditional stereotypes about areas of Jewish overrepresentation.
Although the “mainstream” media in the United States has failed to note the Jewish predominance on the list— which can correctly be called predominance, since Jewish people are said to be less than even 3% of the American population—the news about the list has been commented upon in American Jewish community publications.
Joseph Aaron, editor of The Chicago Jewish News said that his readers should “feel very, very good about” the news that their co-religionists are so powerful in America. In the Vanity Fair list, which is reproduced here and annotated with factual details regarding those names on the list, AFP has indicated the Jewish names in boldface, although it is possible that there are other Jewish names on the list, but there is no firm research available confirming it. Also, note, for example, that media baron Rupert Murdoch— who appears at number one on the list—is not included here as being Jewish, for the reason that reports that his mother was Jewish have never been fully confirmed, although it has long been an article of faith on the Internet—perhaps in error—that Murdoch is Jewish).
Whatever his ethnic antecedents, Murdoch has been a front-line supporter of Israel and the global Zionist cause—no surprise considering the fact that his primary financial backers in his rise to power were the powerful Rothschild, Bronfman and Oppenheimer families—all very definitely Jewish. (An account of the rise of Murdoch and his media intrigues appear in The Judas Goats.)
Since the release of the list, several Internet sources have alleged that several other names on the list (that are not indicated here as being Jewish) are Jewish; however, AFP’s research does not indicate that this is so. The bottom line is that the preponderance of the names are indisputably Jewish, whether the disputed names are or are not.
Also significant is that the roughly 45-50% of the names on the list that are not definitely known to be Jewish or that are clearly non-Jewish are the names of individuals who are directly beholden to Jewish families and financial interests for their own power and privilege. Rupert Murdoch is perhaps the most prominent among this group.
Secondly, in this realm, is Warren Buffett—listed at No. 6. Buffet is not Jewish, but he has long been in partnership with the Rothschild family and is a primary of the powerful Washington Post-Newsweek media combine.
Although the Post is best known as the fiefdom of the American-based Jewish Meyer-Graham family, the evidence indicates that primary behind-the-scenes investors behind the influential Post empire have always operated in the sphere of Rothschild-connected banking interests operating on American soil. The Meyer/ Grahams, themselves, are related to the powerful San Francisco-based billionaire Jewish heirs of the Levi Strauss clothing kingdom.
Seventeen of those listed are either actors, entertainers and television and news media personalities who—while now wealthy as a consequence of their fame—owe their fame (and wealth) to the patronage of the owners of the mass media which made these 17 figures household names: for example, individuals such as Fox News agitator Bill O’Reilly and Steven Colbert, among others.
Three listed—Pinault, listed at 29, and Gagosian and Pigosi—listed at 84 and 86—are figures in the art world, which is known to be dominated by Jewish interests.
Eight others, such as Bernard Arnault (listed at 8), Giorgio Armani (listed at 37), Miuccia Prada (at 44), Karl Lagerfeld (at 52), Martha Stewart (at 54), Oscar de la Renta (at 53) Diego Della Valle (at 63) and Donatella Versace (at 81) are figures in the fashion and perfume industries—both of which are totally dependent on garment manufacturing (dominated almost exclusively by Jewish families and financial interests) and on department store distribution and the advertising industry, both of which are likewise dominated by the same elements.
Two of those listed—Bill Clinton and his former vice president Al Gore—are only politicians—note the clarification “only”—both of whom were installed in their positions of power through the patronage of Zionist financial interests. For his own part, Gore’s daughter, Karenna, has married the great-great grandson of Jewish plutocrat Jacob Schiff, a satellite of the powerful Rothschild family. Informed students of history know that Schiff was instrumental in financing the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia.
Several others are officers of media giants dominated by Jewish financial interests, acting as well-paid “fronts” for the controllers behind the scenes. For example, Richard Parsons, an African-American, is listed at 18th place, but he is no more than a front man at Time-Warner.
And as those who know the history of Time-Warner are well aware, that media empire has been dominated since at least the late 1960s, of elements linked to the organized crime syndicate of Jewish gangster, Meyer Lansky (who worked closely with Israel’s Mossad) and to the Lansky-connected liquor empire of Sam Bronfman, longtime chief of the World Jewish Congress (WJC), and his son, Edgar Bronfman, who recently retired as head of the WJC.
It has been widely asserted that the idea that Jewish families and financial interests were very powerful was “an old wives’s tale,” a “ridiculous anti-Semitic canard with no basis in reality,” said to be the product of a “discredited czarist forgery.” However, the new Vanity Fair assessment suggests otherwise and seems to confirm the theme of this author’s work, The New Jerusalem, which had already documented in detail what Vanity Fair has now confirmed: “Zionist power in America.”
Sorry its a bit long, a real eye opener though...your answers please

I bought a 7-foot prelit Christmas tree - Martha Stewart from Kmart last year. My daughter assembled it in 10 minutes and it was beautiful all season! We took it out of the box and tried to assemble it yesterday and the branches won't stand up. It seems as if they need to hook or click into something but we can't figure out what. Of course, there were no instructions, only a simple diagram on the box. Does anyone else have one of these trees and know what to do with it?
She was the Mommy doll and I was the Daddy doll.
It started off fine, she was pretending to go potty in the living room and I was in the garage working on my crappy car. Then it started getting worrisome. I walked into the house and started complaining about the credit card bills and her lack of interest in housework. She responded by asking me for a hug and a cup of juice.
I don't think she understands what it takes to run a household. I told her the proper response would be to say "Yes, darling. I will try to refrain from buying shoes and getting manicures. I've just put a load of your underwear in the wash and I'm starting a monthly dinner menu for you to look over and make selections from. Math is hard."
She was speechless... and then she started crying.
How do I get across to my daughter how important it is to keep your husband happy at all costs? Should I enroll her in some sort of Home Economics class and force her to watch Martha Stewart?
Martha Stewart has a daughter named Alexis Stewart. She is getting sperm from a bank and i was wondering "why a bank and not a man". she did not mention having b/f or husband so is she gay or straight. maybe just can't get a man.
hmmmm. i wonder.
I cant remember where I saw this,I think it was on yahoo. Thank You.
This show is held in early December, and is heavily attended. There is a place for kids to set up booths and sell their wares. I'm trying to help my daughter think of things that would be good sellers with a decent profit margin. Help me brainstorm!
So far we've come up with:
- bookmarks made with marbled cardstock (she'll do the marbling)
- Christmas greeting cards
- dishsoap dispensers like Martha Stewart showed the other day, made of small wine bottles and a liquor spout (if you think this is a good idea, do you know where to buy those small fancy bottles that wouldn't cost that much?)
- homemade paper (doubting she has the time or energy to do much of this)
Even if you can't think of anything, I'd love if you would take the time to comment on the ideas we already have, including what you think would and wouldn't sell to a "country style" crowd just before Christmas, and what you would think the items could be priced.
Thanks a lot for your help!
My x mother-in-law would forever compare me to her daughter who is a workaholic, mother earth incarnate, Martha Stewart wanna be. I mean she was great at everything. I would constantly be compared to her. All she had to say was "Tracy does this" and my blood presser would go up
I like the idea of naming a daughter after my aunt (who was more of a grandmother to me). Martha Elizabeth. However, it's a very formal name, and the standard nickname is Patty or Patsy... which is problematic, as I'm a Patricia, and I go by Patti.
Would Molly be a good choice? Drawback is that it's a nickname for Mary, though. Mazy - nickname for Mary Elizabeth, but I kind of hate it.
Any good suggestions? Is Molly fine? I guess the worst case scenario is that she is a Liz or a Beth.
And, yes, I've thought about the bad things associated with Martha: Stewart (I figure she'll be passee in 10 years), Washington (she'd have a cousin named George), the Hippo kids books (eh.), Vineyard (as long as she's not driving in a car with a drunken Ted Kennedy, she can live with this).
Good thing: Honoring a relationship with a woman who meant a lot to me as a teenager/college student and who I still miss. Not PG... but talking about it.
Yeah, Patty and Patsy are nicknames for Martha. Most famous example of a Martha going by Patsy is Jefferson's daughter who served as First Lady during his administration. Molly is a Nickname for Mary.
I see I'm the only history and genealogy buff here. lol.
I want to know how to encourage my husband and daughter to help pick up after themselves, and (I know this is a stretch) participate in the regular cleaning without turning into a complete bitchasaurus rex! Keep in mind that this is a ten year marriage, and the daughter is 6. Now that I'm in nursing school I just can't seem to keep up, and it bothers me to distraction when the house is so dirty. I'm talking about the living room table is full of papers, cups, and other assorted crap, the sink is full of dishes constantly ( we have a dishwasher and I run it daily), and there is stuff strewn around the floor. I just can't keep up. Am I alone, or have others out there been through this? Creative suggestions welcomed. ~ The Anti Martha Stewart
Give me something really creative that I haven't already tried in the last ten years. Just don't suggest that I hire help because it isn't in the financial picture (unless we stop eating). Let's see what you've got!

Please help... I would LOVE to do one for my daughter!!!
My mother-in-law is martha stewart II, and is very aware of manners and keeps an immaculate house. However when we attend events with my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law these two act like monkeys just let out of the zoo, and she seems completely oblivious to it. They whine and fuss and scream and chew with their mouths open and make rude comments and antagonize my husband and are otherwise just annoying and, quite frankly repulsive. Mind you they are 22 and 24 respectively. How do I handle this? I have ignored it for a long time, but now it is beginning to rub off on my daughter, which I do not appreciate. They also tried to rush my husband's birthday celebration along so as to go out with friends and get drunk, as if their brother is nowhere near as important as their drinking habits. How do I address this?

My husband and I have struggled for the past 3-4 months finacially due to illness and pregnancy. We have actually borrowed money from our family to make sure that rent is paid. We have just a few dollars in our account, and we have an 11 year old daughter that we haven't bought anything for, not to mention our parents. We are not crafty, nor Martha Stewart (cookies and such). Does anyone have any ideas?

i can't think of any other questions...

Season 5 spoilers
As revealed in the spoilers for the season finale, next season takes us FIVE years into the future and stays there. Lynette's kids will be either written out or recast, while Mrs. McCluskey's hard of hearing. Bree's well on her way to becoming the next Martha Stewart. Carlos remains blind. Katherine is still living on Wisteria Lane. Edie returns to Wisteria Lane, having also gone through significant change as well. Susan has a new man, played by Gale Harold.
Gone from the show: Julie, Danielle, Dylan, and the actors playing Lynette's kids. Lynette's kids will be recast for season 5 and will be juvenile delinquents; the kids who've played them til now may or may not be back for a few flashbacks next season. Mike may or may not be back. (This was also said of Mike after season 1 and season 2, so who knows what's really happening.)
Say hello to Kaila Say and Danielle Baltodano, who are playing Gabrielle's daughters Juanita and Celia. Gabrielle will be frustrated her kids don't live up to her standards of beauty. (Gabrielle's hardly living up to her own standards of beauty either!)
The show has been picked up for next season. There will be 24 episodes!
Other spoilers
As Marc Cherry's been saying since November of 2004, he plans on ending the show with season 7. After that, he hopes to follow up with a spin-off entitled Vicious Cheerleaders. (Please, make that happen!! I've been itching for more on the show since he first mentioned it 2 years ago.)
DH creator Marc Cherry is considering setting the seventh and final season in the year BEFORE DH began, when Mary Alice and Mrs. Huber, among others, still lived on Wisteria Lane.
THANKS TO HEATHER R!!!!!!!

Thanks
ok, so it's thanksgiving in a couple of days & i have invited a co-worker for thanksgiving dinner to our house for reasons that he cant afford a dinner for thanksgiving,(times are tough) it'll be him, his wife, & daughter. . .my hubby & myself. Well, Ive cooked thanksgiving dinner for my man & myself the last 3 yrs, & u know whether it comes out great or not, we still eat it, this will be our first thanksgiving with company & i want to know. . . how do u cook a great turkey? U know, golden brown, juicy, & a great flavor. I was watching Martha Stewart the other day & she used a "cheese cloth" & her turkey looked golden brown, it looked delicious. Where can I buy a "cheese cloth"? Does anyone know a great website where I can get great 'turkey cooking" tips. . . I want my co-worker & his family to have a great dinner. . . any help &/or ideas would be great, thanks!!!!
oh yeah, & what would be a good size (turkey) for 5 people?
This was a wedding planning site from Martha Stewart. I thought she might find it helpful. Now my son calls me and tells me not to email her anything else like that. It was only Martha's wedding site! You would have thought I commited a crime. Sorry.
i can't think of any other questions...

1. Little Johnny's father decided it was time for 14-year-old Little Johnny, to discover the facts of life. He takes him to the local house of ill repute, which is fronted by a beauty parlor.
He introduces Little Johnny to the madam, and explains that it's time for his indoctrination to sex. The madam says, "You've been such a good customer over the years, I'm going to see to this personally."
So she takes Little Johnny by the hand and leads him upstairs, where she completes his deflowering. Later, as they are walking downstairs the madam says, "Since this is your first time, I'm going to see that you get the full treatment before you leave. I'm going to give you a manicure."
Two weeks later, Little Johnny and his father run into the madam on the main street. The madam smiles and says, "Well, Little Johnny, don't you remember me?"
"Yes, " Little Johnny stammers, "you're the bitch who gave me crabs and then cut my fingernails so I couldn't scratch 'em!"
2. A little girl and a little boy were at day care one day.
The girl approaches the boy and says, "Hey Johnny, do you wanna play house?"
Little Johnny replies, "Sure! What do you want me to do?"
The girl says, "I want you to communicate your feelings."
"Communicate my feelings?" said a bewildered Little Johnny. "I have no idea what that means."
The little girl smirks and says, "Perfect. You can be the husband."
3. Little Suzy raised her hand during a biology lesson and asked if her grandmother could have a baby. The teacher was a bit surprised at the question but answered that the grandmother was too old to have babies.
"So what about my mother?" asked Little Suzy. The teacher said that it was possible, but that her mother was probably getting too old to be having babies as well.
"Well, then could I have a baby?" she wanted to know.
"Goodness no!" said the teacher, "you are much too young."
"See!" yelled Little Johnny from the back of the classroom, "I told you YOU didn't have anything to worry about!"
4. Little Johnny and Little Mary were playing doctor, on the back porch one day. Little Mary's mom happened to walk out and see them.
Shocked and furious to see her daughter's friend eating her out, she said "You're gonna get a good lickin' when daddy gets home!"
Mary replied, "But that's what Johnny's been doing all afternoon!"

I was told at my local gun range that "small frame" hand guns are not allowed. This apparently included my Kel-Tec 9mm. Sig Sauer .380 ACP and Bernardelli .22 LR. I can accurately hit a target with all of them from 25 yards away. I thought small frame meant guns like the derringer.
I'm looking for a good "last resort" handgun. I considered a derringer for a while, but I was poking around at .22 rifles and thought it might be a fun project to take a very inexpensive .22 rifle, shorten the barrel, and cut down the stock to a pistol size. I know that shortening a shotgun barrel is illegal, but they make many handguns in .22, and since it's such a small caliber... Is there any way to legally cut down a rifle in such a way?
This isn't a debate on the uses of a .22 caliber firearm. If a .22 COMPLETELY NEEDS 16" to stabilize, then there's an awful lot of useless handguns out there in said caliber. My question is about legality and safety.
Oh, AI, "a bit of growing up?" It was a legitimate question that merited a legitimate answer. There's no need for senseless, rude, obnoxious comments. Who really needs to grow up in this situation?
I came across this gun & I'm wondering what it's worth. I know it's really old. It still shoots. I tried to do searches online, but couldn't find the RG-15 model. If anyone can help out w/anymore info or a website I could go to, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I am thinking of getting a Cobra .22 magnum derringer to carry with me when i travel as a protection gun. I have chose the gun because it is small and looks easy to handle. I am a 21 year old woman and have shot pistols before. I just dont want to own anything for myself that has a harsh recoil. I want something i will enjoy shooting. Any advice on this particular gun would be greatly appreciated.

I own 1 Shotgun, a 12 Ga. pump, 3 Rifles, A 22 automatic, a 303 British bolt action,and a 30-30 lever action, 3 handguns, a 9mm Hypower pistol, a 32 H&R revolver and a 22 cal derringer. I really love these guys and have had them for years. Am I OK or a Nut?
Is there a revolver with a total length under 6 inches that is NOT a derringer and barrelled for self defense ammo? (bigger then .22)
or maybe one that you could put smaller grips on it to make it total length under 6?
or maybe one that you could put smaller grips on it to make it total length under 6?
Anyone know the value of this, set of two in US Bicentennial 1776 star emblem 1976 on box, velvet lined, serial #B39356
I have had the gun about 35 years and it was very old and in pieces in a cigar box when i got it. it has no markings other than the stamped # 126 under the area where the barrels break over for loading. It has progressive triggers and dual hammers.
Ok this might be a little off the wall but I am sure I am not the only one to ever dream this up. *Disclaimer* I do not plan on breaking any laws or doing anything illegal. I just had a thought.
I've been flying RC airplanes since I was like 14 and I was thinking about how cool it would be to put a micro camera hooked up to a laptop and a very small lightweight pistol i.e. .22 Derringer in the plane. There's no real practical use for this maybe small game hunting?? I suspect you'd have to "sight in" the pistol to the laptop camera and accuracy would probably be close to nil.
SO off to my question. Is this legal? Any thoughts of you own on this?
I am already very aware of the battle warships.
My idea would be nothing like leaving a loaded weapon in the woods.
And yes as with my thinking I would have total control of the firing/aiming in this senario.
It is a two shot LR, with mother of pear handles. It was my fathers gun. I cannot find out anything about this particular gun on the internet. Thanks for your help.

I'm the sound designer for a production of Assassins by Steven Sondheim. In the show are the 9 different guns that were used to attempt or successfully assassinate a president.
The guns are as follows:
- .44 caliber Derringer (John Wilkes Booth)
- Mannlicher-Carcano bolt action rifle (Lee Harvey Oswald)
- .32 caliber Iver-Johnson "Safety Automatic" hammerless revolver (Leon Czolgosz)
- .22 caliber Rohm RG-14 revolver (John Warnock Hinckley Jr.)
- .44 Webley British Bulldog revolver (Charles Julius Guiteau)
- .32 caliber Smith & Wesson hammerless pistol, 5 shot (Giuseppe Zangara)
- .22 snube nose caliber revolver, don't know the manufacturer (Samuel Byck)
- .45 Colt semi-automatic, this one i can get fairly easy (Lynette Alice "Squeaky" Fromme)
- .38 caliber revolver Smith & Wesson, 5 shot nickle plated with 4" in. barrel (Sara Jane Moore)
Now i know i most likely will not be able to get that specific with the SFX, but any help to get close is appreciated.

my wife wants a pocket derringer for protection. i have found a pawn shop that sells them new in box . all calibers are the same price. i realize that the larger calibers would be painful on the hands but she needs something that would still do the job. also with only a 2.25" barrel most of the needed muzzle velocity is never obtained, therefore ballistic charts are pretty worthless when considering this. looking for the best knock down power with minimal hand shock whats the best choice? there are so many loads to choose from in each caliber this only adds to my confusion. the choices are .22L.R. / .22 MAG / .32 CAL. / 38 SPECIAL, .380 A.C.P. / 9 MM. i am leaning towards the 9 mm or 38 special. the 38 might have too much kick though. the 9 mm would be very economical and with the right load could have the most power but i want others opinions. when answering keep in mind that she has her mind dead set on a double barrel- hammer style derringer, NO AUTOMATICS! dont say Kel Tec P-32
folks, they do not have the .45 L.C./.410 it is not available! please choose from the calibers given.
the .45L.C./.410 would be best but it is not available
A friend in the states asked me - if a D-22 won't always fire the second barrel she's been told to take 1/32nd of an inch off the top long sides of the ratchet spring to turn it into roughly a wooden spatula shape instead of a rectangle. Anyone done this> Any advice, pictures or schematics that I could send her would be very welcome. Thanks.
I'm getting my Concealed Carry Permit and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a nice pistol?
I already own a Glock 23C 40 Caliber. Not a big fan of Glocks now that I have purchased the 23C. I've considered Derringers but I don't really want something that small, even though my Father (State Cop) is a firm believer in the Derringer 22 Magnums.
I like the .40 Caliber, but I also have taken note a 9MM comes in smaller handguns and would do a fine job in stopping a criminal.
So I've pretty much made up my mind with the 9MM Kahr PM 9093.
Just wanted to hear other peoples suggestions, and what they prefer.
I'm looking to make something, probably has to be custom made ive never seen a production thing like it, that would hold a .22 Jennings pistol about half way up my wrist, and then pop it out into my hand when i press a button. An example of this would be like in the movie taxi driver, or in wild wild west. the one guy has the little derringer in his shirt and it pops out on accident. something like taht, any input would be appreciated like what kind of springs or something like that.

- Mannlicher-Carcano bolt action rifle (Lee Harvey Oswald)
- .32 caliber Iver-Johnson "Safety Automatic" hammerless revolver (Leon Czolgosz)
- .22 caliber Rohm RG-14 revolver (John Warnock Hinckley Jr.)

Alexander Ovechkin to Rick Derringer's "I'm a Real American"?
I mean come on.. it couldn't get any more epic than that.

Your thoughts?
LOL! Jaromir Jagr - "Leaving on a jet plane"

Bob -- Haha, I'm from Pittsburgh! And, that movie The Wrestler looks incredible. January 23rd in theaters! Anything by that director is amazing.
So, I'm thinking about getting one to stick in my sock(ankle holster) for the times that a belt holster and a larger weapon aren't appropriate.
So what can you tell me about the model 1? Is it reliable? Is it accurate? Can it take 3" .410 shells?
I understand this is a last ditch weapon.
im the one looking for the (leinad derringer). i just wanted to thank everyone for the help. im new to computers and have a lot to learn.some good answers sorry i did not choose one.american derringers are great. i have in (357). and later on i plan to buy a (m1 45-70/45long colt).one very mean pistol but i know i will find one sooner or later on the auctions. no need to respond unless you find. thank very much.
thank you for your answer american derringer. but im looking for a five shot revolving derringer. there like the old pepperbox revolvers. ky imports has them new. but im in california. so i have to buy one used.
I am looking for the title i need type into iTunes to get the actual introduction theme song, not the original Rick Derringer version
Anyone own one of these, and or have any opinions or advice in regards to the American Derringer M1 and the .45 colt cartridge?
ok, I have a Derringer over/under 357 mag. It looks like a typical Derringer, but says Manufactured in Germany with some German name and tag along the spine of the upper barrel. On the side it says " 110 " but I cant find a model 110, so anyways : I cock the hammer back and fire the lowere shell, I cock it back again and the same firing pin is struck, thus not firiing the shell I want ( the upper ) but striking the lower again. On examining the internal workings I see the peice in front of the hammer that actually strikes the firing pin and both firing pins move in working order, but I cant seem to get this little p-o-s to work right. On the American Derringer website it is axplained that all or most derringers have a manually operated barrell selector, but I cant find any logical way to shoot both shells. so if I have to use this thing I want to be able to swtich to whatever needed chamber without much trouble. Help me out all you pros out there, no "firing pin problem" answers
If anyone has exploded diagrams I would like to see them - from a UK Gun Nut

Ive heard the usual diablo, lucifer etc but I want something quite unusual.
Alexander Ovechkin to Rick Derringer's "I'm a Real American"?
I mean come on.. it couldn't get any more epic than that.
Sean Avery's? Oh without a doubt... George Therogood - Bad to the Bone!
Your thoughts?
LOL! Jaromir Jagr - "Leaving on a jet plane"
LOL ! Leafer!
Oh goodness.. I thought this question would get more attention.
