so heres my question, im 18 and live in alaska. i have a berretta m9 handgun (technically under my dads name, registered to him, but he is fully aware i have it). now i know it is illegal for me to carry it concealed because im not 21 but if it is in an adequate case and within my possetion(in my car)is that illegal? im asking because im gonna be going down from anchorage to homer to go to my cabin and when you get pulled over they always ask if there are firearms in the car. and i wanna know if its ok to bring my gun
I already know a lot about handguns, but i need some unbiased answers. I want a 9 millimeter for sure. I have been looking at springfields, smith and wesson, berrettas and glocks. I want to shoot thousands of target rounds through it and I would also want to carry it. I still need a CCW handgun because i have completed to class.
I live in Wichita, KS and am new to purchasing of firearms. I was wondering if there is a waiting period when buying a hunting rifle. I will be buying the rifle from Gander Mountain. What if any is the waiting period. Do I have to pay for a background check?
I heard I could find a good deal on a Berretta PX4 storm 45acp at a gunshow. How does purchasing a handgun at a gunshow work? Waiting period? Background check?
I dont want it to be massive eitheir I would rather it be on the bigger side though cause im bigger. Also no revolvers. berrettas seem to be in my price range leaning towards .40 or .45 any thoughts would be appreciated thank you
I'm going to trade in a mini-14 and a SA XD 9MM and get one handgun that I love. I just don't shoot enough to keep a rifle and a handgun.
I've owned Berreta's in the past and liked them (although the smaller models)
What are the best 9MM handguns I could get? HK? Berretta? I'm not a big Glock fan and I have small hands so I'm not looking for a gigantic gun. Just a top of the line 9.
Suggestions?
On or off
I want to deer hunt with a Berretta CX4 Storm .40 S&W. This is a carbine rifle available in a handgun round. This caliber is legal in Mississippi but i want to know its effectiveness. i also want to know what type of .40 S&W round and weight I should use?
The Department of Wildlife in Mississippi only says that the caliber must be .38 or larger. The laws in my state does not address fps.
Anyone know a "Shooters Bible" type internet site ?
Im looking for a ballpark value of a couple of handguns I own that I would like to trade in on one new (different) one.
Thanks for the help!
Here's the guns.
A S&W model 686, stainless, 8 3/8" barrel, Factory rear target sight with windage adj. and front factory adjustable sight with settings for 50, 100,150,200 yards. the gun also has a wide factory trigger. It has the firing pin on the hammer. It also was recalled by the factory it one time for a hammer part replacement that has been done.
The gun is in excellant shape with no scratches etc. It has burn stains where the shells go in but not that bad. It probably has had 1500 rounds shot through it and is in solid condition.
The second is a Berretta 21a that is blued steel with gold plated trigger, pins, hammer, inlay in the berreta name on the side of the gun, etc. 22 cal.
Also in new condition.
I want to get a semi auto rimfire handgun. I want to be able to mount a scope on it too. I'll be using it to hunt rabbits or just plinking. I've been looking at some in the 98th Edition of "Shooter's Bible"
