skydivers and coleman francis

See, what you have to understand about Red Zone Cuba is that it's part of the Coleman Francis trio (along with Skydivers and The Beast of Yucca Flats, both of which have also been MST-ified), which means it's going to have no redeeming ...Tor is BEAST now and choke gurl wif' purse too!! Then he take gurl to cave for hot time on old rock! Whoa, wild looking Marcia Knight, great star of THE SKYDIVERS!! Coleman very thrifty, use son Ronald and Alan and secret weapon, ...The "plot" involves the titular skydivers getting away from their bland, loveless marriages with bland, loveless affairs, watching Coleman Francis's extended family go-go dancing, and either killing, dying, or suffering total mental ...The mention of Marcia Knight just reminded me of someone I wanted to mention, although it's kind of in the “damning with faint praise” category: (Ms.) Kevin “Beth” Casey from “Skydivers.” She's about as natural as anyone gets in a Coleman Francis movie, and the only person I can think of who, even momentarily, injects a bit of cheer (her reaction to her own little joke) into Francis' otherwise unrelenting, emotionally stunted and bleak universe. Even his attempts at comic ..."skydivers" is distinguished by a wild twist party before the historic night jump and two cameo appearances by coleman francis himself: as a cigar chomping skydiving groupie and the policeman who leads the manhunt for suzy and frankie ...Skydivers, however, is the forgotten, neglected gem of the Coleman Francis trilogy. Perhaps that's because it's actually the best of the three, and almost verges on watchable. Is that saying a lot? No. ...Starring: Michael Pataki Plot Summary: Motorcycle racer seeks revenge for his fiancee's death 8. The Skydivers (1963) [1.5, 1818 votes] (unrated but PG in nature) Director: Coleman Francis Starring: nobody you know ...all three of coleman francis's movies have been covered by mystery science theatre 3000, although only two "red zone cuba" or "night train to mundo fine" and "skydivers" are available on dvd. the third, and in my opinion the best, ...Of all the Coleman Francis movies, this is the sunniest; there's a lovely goofiness to the dance scene, the random characters showing up to watch the skydivers are so absurd (are skydivers really that fascinating?), and Francis as the ...having become increasingly interested in him over the past two years, i have started a project to chronicle the life and times of francis - appropriately dubbed the coleman francis biography project for the time being. ...
What are your favorite episodes of MST and some of your favorite lines?
My top 5 are:
1. The Final Sacrifice- there are too many great lines to even try to quote them all. But the whole scene with Pipper is hilarious. "Can I drink him? No."
2. Hobgoblins- "Fish picker! That's our one song! Goodnight!"
3. Zombie Nightmare- Detective at crime scene: "Double suicide?" Crow: "No thanks, i'm busy."
4. Pod People- It cracks me up when that Laura Stapleton girl is unconscious and someone says "what do we do?" and Crow says "jam a sandwich down her throat!"
5. Red Zone Cuba- I don't care how bad they are, the Coleman Francis trilogy (Skydivers, RZC and Beast of Yucca Flats) are great fun. "Uh, I think you're supposed to strangle me till i'm dead."

I'm really interested in others favorite episodes, so fire away!
Yes yes Mitchell!! That's one I should've put in the top 5 for sure. There are just too many great ones. "Buzz off kid!" and let's not forget the terrible Mitchell sex scene "ktsch...glug glug glug glug."
