OK my wife and I both really enjoying shooting. We started of with 9mm's (3 of them) and a .45. Then we added the Ruger BlackHawk .44 mag...and yesterday got an AK-47.

What I am trying to find out are your suggestions for guns that would be fun for us to shoot, but won't break the bank. So far we have not spent more than $600 on a gun (the gun store had a LOT of AK's and had a $200 off sale so I got this one for 500 ). I am willing to go a bit higher (maybe $800 or $900 ) for something really good but would rather stick with around $500.

So what do you suggest both for handguns and long guns, that would just be fun for us to shoot?


would like to know if the 9mm sccy or skyy is a good gun or is it a pice of junk someone has one for sale wants $250 comes with holster & mag holder

I just bought a Jennings 9mm from a friend of mine and he dosen't have any papers for it, but the serial number is intact. I don't intend to carry it on me ever. Do I need to apply for some kind of permit? Any help would be great!

         Chapter 1     Get away from me!  11:57 P.M. 11-5-2010
 
 
At around midnight in the big city, they yell from bullets can really distract a guy. Even though the city, Telecon, has the world’s greatest police force, gangsters will try and fail. But today the bullets were louder. George Bond happened to be really distracted! He had learned about what do to if someone did invade his house: He would go to his bedroom and grab his pistol. If more then three or four invaded, in his attic he kept a shotgun. Then all of a sudden like a plane running right by you his door nearly exploded. Men in black suits came in and started shooting bullets everywhere. George saw about seven so he ran up to his attic, only to find more men! One grabbed his arm and pulled him forward. The man’s face was pale, like a dead man’s. He kicked his coconuts and ran back to his room. Even more were there! The house was infected with this disease! “ Get away from me!” He screeched. Then all of a sudden out of the swarm of bullets got his leg and another in his arm. Out of pain and fear, plus blood loss he was knocked out! He was never heard of again!
 
 
         Chapter 2 Race against the Force 11:12 P.M. 11-12-2010
  
 
        Ever noticed that a couple glasses of wine are like a couple of mosquito bites? Once you start to scratch a bite, the burning and itching starts to happen. Well, Ben Brady, detective for Telecon was no deferent. He had just come to the restaurant to look over some notes about last weeks kidnapping and possible murder. He had heard about it on the news while he was at his house. He had questioned some neighbors the day later and came up with three notes: 
 
 The men were pale like zombies or men with colds
They used police handguns and cars and other weapons
They were heading for the border of the next state, Washington
 
Ben Brady looked down at his 9mm handgun. Nobody knew he had it so; he at a snail's pace reloaded it. Then all of a sudden an alarm went off. Police cars surrounded the area. He hid the handgun; of what he thought triggered the alarm. As he turned around a zombie looking man came in with an assault rifle. He started killing innocent children and parents. Ben Brady fired his handgun pack hitting two times out of two. The bizarre man turned and looked at Ben. Ben popped another shot and blew the man’s head off. Then all of a sudden, south of nowhere men in ballistic shields compressed this hellish place, flouting the windows. Ben Brady again crooked in an angle and popped three bullets. As the third one slammed into a zombie, he was grabbed from behind. Another group of zombies had managed to get inside. He had face gang members before, even stopped an American Gang meeting and also sabotaged a Gang and Terrorist Nuclear Missile sale. Then all of a sudden as Ben looked back at all of his memories of fighting to protect the planet, an AK-47 assault rifle blasted everywhere. Brady dove under a table as glasses exploded. He took out the guns magazine and replaced it with another one, full of bullets. He got up and fired thrice. The zombie monster swaggered up and fired a the rest of his clip. Brady watched the zombie with his gun. Then another wave of zombies compressed the entire building firing bullets everywhere. Ben choose to jump over to the bartenders side of the bar. Surprisingly, a shotgun with ten shells was right under the bar, in case of a fight. He grabbed it and loaded it up quickly and fired at zombie monsters and started blowing heads off. Finally after blowing about twelve heads off with those ten shells he was now out of any hope. He started clubbing zombies with his shotgun but it had little effect. The zombies now grabbed at him and started putting sleeping injections into his body. Then a whole bunch of shotguns and pistols were fired. He couldn't tell if police officers were helping or if he was being executed. More injections were put into his skin. Finally, a swarm of bullets it the zombies around him and clouded up his vision. He tried to round up his strength into is feet and did a roundhouse kick. A bullet then smothered his torso in blood and another one on his arm mimicked. He tried to draw his gun and ended up scratching at his wound. Another bullet hit his leg and he blacked out completely.


Chapter 3 British Zombies 8:00 P.M. 11-14-2010


Brady thrust his eyelids open to see he was in some sort of dark woods you see in those cheesy scary movies. But, this is not a cheesy horror movie, but a cheesy horror book about a young detective who faces zombies and shoots them. He also has to find who killed the victim.

Ben not knowing what happened to him was lucky to find a green apple and a Tommy Gun right beside him. He took a gigantic mouthful of the apple and found it sweet. Then he though “ How can I of all people in this world be lucky to find a gun and food.” Then it hit him, literally! A foo

(a) "Armor-piercing bullet" means any bullet which has a steel inner core or core of equivalent hardness and a truncated cone and which is designed for use in a handgun as an armor-piercing or metal-piercing bullet.

(c) "Handgun" means a firearm capable of being carried and used by one hand, such as a pistol or revolver.

(2)(a) Any person who manufactures, sells, offers for sale, or delivers any armor-piercing bullet or exploding bullet, or dragon's breath shotgun shell, bolo shell, or flechette shell is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

(b) Any person who possesses an armor-piercing bullet or exploding bullet with knowledge of its armor-piercing or exploding capabilities loaded in a handgun, or who possesses a dragon's breath shotgun shell, bolo shell, or flechette shell with knowledge of its capabilities loaded in a firearm, is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

so according to this if I have armor piercing rounds in a rifle or my 9mm carbine I'm good?



i live in georgia and want to sell my handgun (9mm smith and wesson). do i have to fill out some type of form or are there any legal matters i need to take care of before the sale.

I've bought a $90 italian Carcano (I think ther Terni on it?)
yes I bought one from a private seller (actually i could go to the FFL dealer but they don't have what I want.)

and about that... it's almost closing time so I decided to buy a handgun on private sale, but they're all packing up..
so I decided to go to a priv.seller and asked if he got a 9mm handgun on $200 range, so he said yeah, and he picked upped on what I thought a beretta. then when I came home
it's not!!!! it a Helwan Pistol!!!!!!!

it has a holster though...but the grips on the back portion is RIPPED!!!! it should cost atleast 60-70 dollars!!! (T-T)

I know I'm ripped but any Idea what decent handgun can i trade it for? just don't forget this question okay?

i really didn't think about its use but only on its reputation..then I just realized that its ammo is very expesive.
Hornady is making a custom ammo for them carcani but they're $23 for 20 rounds!!!!

I would say about the condition of the gun;
well, the bolt when you pull it, is wiggly.
you can load on it though and fire accurately
like a normal bolt action. though I haven't seen any number on the bolt.
The finish of the stock is really good (as in)
But I think the stock is from a different gun coz it's really shiny and different from those carcani stocks.

but it's more like carbine style coz it's not too long (the sights are original as well).

next gun show is june 14-15.
sorry for those dudes that have been hurt coz I think I said bad about the Helwan but I'm just thinking about how I did with the price then it's cosmetic condition. haven't seen it's performance yet.
But I have no idea if it's reliable coz some people from the net wrote a review and said they will not recommend helwan pistols for survival or any sort of action.
is it really a good and reliable pistol?


I just purchased a Taurus PT 24/7 Pro 9mm handgun. I was wondering where I could get decent laser sightings for it for a reasonable price. I have seen that NCStar has them for like $17.00 (sale price) for the ones with the weaver base, but I dont know if they would fit my gun or even if they are any good. I dont believe the gun can accept an internal laser system so I am wondering what my options are as far as a good budget laser sighting system.
I have also looked at Laserlyte's universal rail mounted laser that goes for about $80.00. Is this opne any good or should I shop around it bit more. It is not something I will be using all the time. It is for a gun for home defense. Under high stress and low light in the house at night, I want my wife to be able to hit what she is aiming at with little problem if I am not there.


I want to get a Ruger P95 9mm handgun. I have set my sights on that. The local gun shop has them NIB in the blued with the 10rd mag for 317 on sale. I know that CDNN has them blued with the 15rd mag NIB for 250. The only thing is i dont wanna wait for the shipping I want it today. My question is how low do you think i should go with the local dealer. I have checked pawn shops and a few other gun stores and they have the lowest price i have found here so far. I live in AZ so there is no restriction on hi cap mags.
CDNN's deal is with 12.95 shipping plus the dealer i was going to transfer to charges $20. So roughly 283 out the door. Should i ask for the 317 from the deal OTD?


I was looking at buying a new handgun the other day and the store had Ruger P94 in the .40S&W for 287 used. Looked in good condition just the bore needed a good cleaning. I have tried looking for prices online and couldn't find any. Will someone tell me if this is a good price for this gun. This is in SS buy the way. They also have the Ruger P95 in 9mm Blued on sale for 317 brand new. Any input on this. This is my first handgun and have done a lot of research on these guns. So no "Go buy a Glock" responses. I need to stay in the $300 range. And was also looking at the S&W Sigmas with the $50 rebate and 2 free mags is hard to beat. But I dont like the DOA


A guy I work with has a few handguns for sale and I was looking at the Smith and Wesson 9mm sigma he has.Does any one own one of these ? are they good ,bad,worth the money ? or junk.I just don`t want to be took.


I already own a Ruger P97DC in .45auto, and a Hi-Point 9mm...
I really want another 9mm just because of how cheap the ammo is...I found some on sale for $4.99 a box for blazer, and for california and just about anywhere really, thats freakin great!
So the S&W Sigma 9VE is $299, and the S&W Model 910 is $499 I believe, both are good guns, obviously the sigma is really cheap compared to most handguns...
Which should I get, OR should I consider another 9mm semiauto for uner $500?
